Aadyalakshmi and Kajal
Founder, Its My Duty
Imagine growing up with stories of crystal-clear rivers, sprawling emerald forests, and a vibrant earth that breathed pure life. When young Aadyalakshmi listened to her mother, Kajal Singh, recount these breathtaking childhood memories of India, a hard truth hit home: she would only ever know that paradise through tales.
Heartbroken by the rapid destruction of the landscapes around them, this powerhouse mother-daughter duo refused to be silent spectators. Aadyalakshmi refused to stand by as careless littering and single-use plastics choked local roads, threatened wildlife, and degraded nature. Recognizing that everyday habits often blind people to the long-term damage they cause, 14-year-old Aadyalakshmi—a passionate environmentalist and advocate for animal welfare—co-founded Its My Duty alongside her mother.
Together, they realized that if our generation doesn't step up, there will be nothing left to save. Driven by a deep empathy for the voiceless, Aadyalakshmi launched the brand to wake up communities and spark conscious consumer habits. Through Its My Duty, she bridges the gap between youth passion and environmental action, proving that her generation isn't just waiting for change—they are creating it.
This is our wake-up call. We are the generation that can turn the tide. Join Aadyalakshmi and Kajal on this urgent mission to protect our environment, secure our water, and preserve our heritage before it’s too late. The future isn't waiting—and neither should we.
